Maybe the kitten is asserting dominance. For one thing she is much smaller so she has to act big. You also said she is a women so she would want to protect her title and fight with males. However the males will generally try to be more dominant. Some females will end up being the more dominant ones.

I'm guessing that too. The other cats are pretty big and I don't think she is biting hard because she bites me in play and it's never THAT bad.
