Is it normal for a junior to do terribly in economics?

I am struggling in economics but I absolutely love math. I feel like I'm struggling because I really don't have any interest in economics what so ever. I also feel it's hard to also focus in that class too. Am I the only one who is going through this?

Superior achievement in economics is expected of the 1%. If you have a plebian background, your poor performance is of little consequence.

Economics are only interesting when you know exactly what you're studying. Like for example, why is economic growth important, and how does it translate into the everyday life of people? How it starts from people producing or providing things of value, which then get bought, which increases production of the same thing, which increases value into the economy, and that's basically growth. When you see how all of that is interconnected and its effects on the ground and in the real world, it becomes a thing of beauty to understand and observe.

Have you thought about getting a tutor? I had one for math and it was helpful.
