      I've been to see my doctor a number of times, but he seems very reluctant to take me seriously. If I had the money to for everything I'd have been a girl years ago.

        A primary care doctor is not the doctor to see about this.....first you will need a psychiatrist...I am not saying that because I think you are crazy....I am being serious...even if you decide you want a sex change you will need clearance from a psychiatrist or a licensed psychologist.....then you start taking hormones under an endicrinologist for at least a year you have to live as the other sex....then you can have sex reassignment surgery
