It does not matter. I used to like to ride a girls bike when I was young because I could not stand up without hitting my nuts on the bar, but a women's bike I could stand up and no bar to hurt me. Also the seats are sometimes much more comfortable. Some of the small bikes seats feel like they are trying to be pushed up your ass when you are riding. Very uncomfortable.
