It sounds more like you're jealous. And that you're dragging her through the mud to feel better about yourself... and perhaps to justify how much you hate her for being so popular.
Why don't you focus on taking care of your own life... instead of whining about how she's living hers?
Well when this blows up in his face, I am the one stuck with dealing with his broken heart. Do you have any idea what it is like to help a friend go through depression and not know what to say to cheer them up. I want to know what to tell him when this happens and not just say everything is going to be ok.
Sometimes you have to let someone make their own mistakes.
Including getting a heart broken.
He's not a baby. He's a human being with the capacity to think for himself. Even if you disagree with his choices.
You can be there for him, tell him how special he is etc....
but if you try to break him up with someone else that he wants... it might blow up in your face.
When you make a man chose between you and the other girl... sometimes they pick the other girl.
Well i am not breaking them up. She already has a boyfriend. He is trying to get with her still. I just usually go do my thing and talk to other guys and it gets frusated because he said he liked her yet never made the effort to stay in contact. Even though he was still able to stay in contact with me. He wants to go visit her and take me. Yet I dont think that is a good idea because she just told me that she is going to be moving in with her boyfriend soon. He does not know this and I dont think her bf is going to like to have a guy come over to see her that likes her. So i wont be going. He is on his own if he wants to chase a girl with a boyfriend.
It sounds like he's going to have to learn the hard way then.
And sometimes life's like that. Sometimes it doesn't matter how many times someone else tells you "it's not going to work"... until you learn it for yourself, you think there's still a chance.
Believe me I know this... I was the one who had to learn it for myself.
Did it hurt? Yes.
Did I get over it? Yep. Sure I had times when I cried so hard it hurt to be that sad... but I got over it.
Could someone have stopped me from trying? No. And yes people tried.
I had to learn for myself and make my own mistakes. And I came out just fine in the end. :-)
Is it normal for a guy to miss these traits because of a pretty face?
