If a dude has a yogurt machine it's just a little creepy. If he's into other sort of cooking it fits the bill..but just the yogurt machine alone? I dont know.
You're right, it doesn't matter, but it obviously matters enough to you to find it creepy. Creepy? A male using a yoghurt machine? I guess you'd find it creepy that I'm a woman who owns a chainsaw my mother bought me and that I know how to use it?
