When a story starts with "Well we had been drinking and he decided he wanted to go get some drugs so I went with him", there is always a slight chance that things might go wrong. My advice to you is stay away from that guy, get yourself clean and try to befriend better people, otherwise getting punched is not the worst thing that is going to happen to you.
