Well we had been drinking and he decided he wanted to go get some drugs so I went with him but it was raining and we were just going in circles so I decided I would rather go home. He flipped out on me, I can't remember exactly what we said during the fight but it was something alone the lines of him being a drug addict
Well what more do you want to know? I'm not completely helpless, I can walk by myself... besides I live in a city, it is easy to catch a taxi (which is what I did). I'll answer any and all questions that you have but I think I explained the situation pretty well. I think you are just trying to blame me or perhaps find a logical reason for the fight. The only logical reason is that we were intoxicated which I don't think is a good excuse. Regardless I have since forgiven him, I just don't feel as close as I use to with him.
Is it normal for a guy to hit a girl?

If he was just angry you said he was a drug addict, then that seems like a bad excuse to hit someone. By the sounds of it, he was in the wrong.
Your relationship doesn't sound too healthy...
Perhaps he was drove most of the way, and it would take him forever to take you home and come back?

So, he had to walk you home then walk back?
I think there is something you are not telling us, you seem to be tip-toeing around, giving short answers. That's just my opinion.
