Is it normal for a guy to hate me but looks at me a lot (at my school)

Okay, so the guy name is...Bobby (not his real name). I would be sitting at my desk and sometimes I would see him looking at me for more than 4 seconds. I first I thought it was just on accidently and was just scanning the room. But it has been happening more and more often. Sometimes I would be walking and see him looking and be thinking he is SUCH a stalker but I say hi for some reason. Lastly he really just looks at me 80% of the time when we are in the same classes. (I'm in high school and change for classes)

    I meant high school, and he would push me and throw my books everywhere.

    He's infatuated with you, but doesn't know how to approach you.

    Be careful, because when people stare intensely at a person or object, it's a sign that he/she really wants that person or item really bad; it's unknown if he wants you in a safe "I like you," way or a creepy lustful way. Try to get to know him if possible.

    You sound just a wee bit to young to be on here, be it sounds like he may have a little crush on you, or you know... he could be plotting to kill you. Who knows?

    no one is is dumb enough to continue staring after someone notices, that is a natural social cue. Guy might be a p.o.s. waiting to happen. People stare sometimes to try to psyche other people out or see how fast they will look away, to gauge how much of a target someone is. If someone has a crush, they usually will always (95%) of the time, look away immediately if they are caught or pretend they were looking at something else.

      Maybe she thinks by him just staring and not talking to her he hates her. What country is OP from? Sounds like different country than America based on how she takes social cues.
