He could be really scared by how he feels and is turning this fear into a "dislike" of you.
It could also be that someone has told him some hurtful rumor about you. Or for some reason he suddenly things you will cheat or something being so far away.
I'd back way way off. maybe send one last, "I don't know why you are doing this, and if you don't want to talk about it I have no choice but to move on with my life." kind of text or message to him.
wait 24 hours. if you hear nothing, move on. He may have some deep mental scars that you don't know about. if he does, you don't want to wait around and find out about them. trust me
