Is it normal for a girl to have no girl friends?

Pretty much every single one of my friends is a guy. I only have a few girl friends, but I haven't seen them in two months, since school ended.

My group of guy friends is a combination of my BoyFriend's friends, and my friends. I've seen all my guy friends at least two times this summer (some more than others), and aside from that my BF is my best friend.

I don't really mind hangin with the guys, but I can't help but long for another girl to hang out with!

I feel like everyone already has their little clique and their BFF, so I feel like I have no chance of finding a girl BFF.

Am I always destined to be surrounded by guys?

I have the exact opposite problem. haha lol But try calling one of your friends that is a girl just to go shopping or out to eat or something like that!

Girls can be bitches. So it makes sense.

Don't dwell on it, if you and your bf split it may get awkward if you share the same friends, but depending on your age all the guys you hang with will eventually settle down and you'll get to meet their gfs and they could become really good friends I think it's better to have "couple" friends, obviously I love girl time but being able to be around my gfs and my bf is nice.

    do you have 'daddy issues'?

  • Yes, it's normal. I find it easier to befriend with guys because they're not as noisy as girls [Sorry girls!]. It's not about gender when we hang around with someone, it's about our feelings. As long as you're feeling safe and happy, it doesn't matter at all.

    Hope that helped.

Its normal ad also the same with me lol. I find that girls are harder to keep as frieds cuz they turn out to be 2-faced, scandless, and change VERY fast.

  • Are you happy with the guys? That's all that matters. If you really want girl friends, get to know the ones from school better or join a club. As long as you have someone to trust and make you happy, you're gonna be fine.

In my previous school, I was in a class where 15 out of 18 students were male. I have no idea what the school was thinking, assigning us like that! But that led me to have plenty of guy friends--but no special boyfriend, because, well, they know me intimately as "chubby". You know what I mean.

I don't know why, but other girls tend to dislike you when all you hang out with are guys. I only stayed there for a few months, until I moved. It might help to join female-oriented clubs or after-school activities if your school has them.

    Best of luck :)
