Ok so this one bad experience with a girl when I was 14 ruined me. There was this girl at my camp I had known from elementary school. So for the first two weeks me and her had so much fun I used to carry her to lunch on my back hold hands with her while we walked and talk to her all day. We were just friends at the time but I thought we both wanted more. People even said we made a cute couple and teased us. Then the day I was gonna ask her on a date these girls came up to me and asked if I liked her. I said yea and they laughed and said she was ugly and I could get any girl at the camp. I shrugged it off said she was nice and I wanted her. Then at lunch she stopped talking to me. And the girls told me she said I was ugly and said a lot of mean stuff about me. So I cried and shunned her. But is this normal with girls? What made her do that? I'm 18 and still scared to ask out any girls.

    Anyways, yes, it's normal. That doesn't mean it's okay. Going around the world and destroying democratic governments and replacing them with dictatorships is perfectly normal for the U.S. government, and that doesn't mean it's okay.

    Did you actually hear those words out of her mouth? She might not have actually said those things. What prolly happened is she heard people say that you said she was ugly, hence why she stopped talking to you. That stuff happens especially at a young age when things can be very confusing.

    From reading this story, I deduced that the girls wanted you, and after finding out you liked her, they sabatoged your realtionship. They told her you said stuff you didn't say (basically lied about you) I don't know if this was in the past, or a recent thing, but I'd clear that up. It's important to conveyyour feelings to that person yourself

    It's obvious that those girls sabotaged your relationship. Either one of them liked you or they were targeting that girl. You should find her and sort this out- otherwise those mean girls win. Don't let them destroy such an old friendship.
