I've been talking to this girl for a while now. We met at work, she's 17 and I'm 20, so she's still in school. We've kissed a couple of times but have only been out once together (valentines). She always finds some excuse not to go out with me, but we fall asleep on the phone like every other night of the week. She also says she wants me but she wants to enjoy high school. So is this normal? Or is whatever she and I have BS.

    She likes talking on the phone a lot so she is showing interest. High school is a difficult time and she may be thinking about what college to go or job to get, where she may want to live or just living in the moment. She may be afraid of committing at the time or in general, but it's important to know it is justified for her to feel that way. Just enjoy anything that develops. Live in the moment like it seems she is. You don't have to make a decision right away

    Maybe she has strict parents? She might not want to admit something like that because it would make her sound like a little kid... Im 17 also and that is my biggest problem.

    Sounds like she does like u but she's probably afraid of getting serious. If she was needy and wanted to see u everyday u would most likely get tired of her. She sounds like a smart chick to me.

    Maybe you need a more mature relationship - falling asleep on the phone? Start dating other girls, dating is what you want and she doesn't.
