Was I upset? I think I was... but in the long run it worked out.
If I had gotten him, it would have been HELL on me, because he was already in love with her.
And then I wouldn't have met the man I'm with, the one who truly makes me happy.
The OP should swallow her ego and be happy for her friend.
Just because she isn't getting what she wants, doesn't mean she won't end up getting what she needs.
However if she carries on whining about her friend, she'll end up making it hell for everyone and will probably destroy a few friendships... and destroying friendships just because her ego is bruised is very immature.
Is it normal FOR a friend to do SHIT like this....
