my friends were in a bar. along with me is my best friend. she does not drink alcoholic beverages. when i got so drunk she pulled the alcohol away from me and got me out of the table and lectures me about not drinking again.
You're lucky to have such a good friend. It's only motherlike if she pulls you over her knee and spanks you. Which might be fun... ;)
It's normal. I knew someone like that. She meant well but it's crossing a line when people have the audacity to assume they can correct you.
