One of my old high school's friend's dad was gay and wanted my friend to be gay aswell, and would inappropriately touch my friend after divorcing his mom (my friend was 11 when his dad came out of the closet and divorced his mom) and told my friend to never hang out with a girl. My friend was however straight, and would rebel against his dad, who would beat him whenever he caught him talking to a girl. By the time my friend was 16 he was matured enough to report his dad to the cops, and today after well over a decade he is happily married to one of our female friends from high school, and have a twin boy and girl. I haven't heard of his dad since, hope that monster rotted in prison!
Is it normal for a father to not accept their son's sexuality?
