Ok. So i have been dating this wonderful guy. We haven't had any fghts or any break ups. He is full out white and im a native american on the darker side. He is the blue eyed blonde hair type but loves skating and wears skater brand clothing. Yesterday was our 10 month mark and we went to a movie. He had left me to get the snacks while I got the tickets. Well, a black guy had come up to me and asked if i was waiting for someone. I had politely told him i was waiting for my boyfriend. He had asked which brother was mine and i pointed to one of the only white boys in the theather. He looked at me and laughed asking if he should be dating a white girl and if i should be dating someone more my color. I told him it didnt matter because i love him. Which his response was it wont be for long. This made me start thinking. is it normal for someone colored to be in love with someone white?

      I agree with the above and the few of the statements below. You had already stated it above. You Love Him, and as Long as he Loves you, and respects you and treats you well. It doesn't matter what other's think. I'm White and my Girlfriend is black, and we've been together almost 6 years and I feel that I'm Very, Very lucky to have her in my life and grateful, and to me She's so Pretty.

    Usually the term "Colored" made referece to "Black" or "African-American". Usually Native Americans are usually called "Indians" But anyway the first White and Native get together happended somewhere in the 1600's I think.

    Don't let it worry you. America's a melting pot of ethnicities. It's what makes it so great. You can love/date whoever you want, regardless of race. That dude in the theater was probably just disappointed :P
