Is it normal for a cat to watch us have sex?

My female cat is kind of strange, though she's small she has a strong energy and presence about her.

Anyway, sometimes when we have sex the cat will just want to sit there on the end of the bed and watch us. She stares at us a lot too.

Sometimes I find it off putting especially if she stares at me while I'm getting head. I usually have to stop and kick her out of the room (the cat not the GF). Only to hear her scratching and meowing at the bedroom door wanting to come back in.

Is it normal that cats like to watch and stare at you while you're having sex?

    Cats are a very curious species, and are also attention whores. You leave them alone for awhile, and they'll just seek you out and watch you do whatever your doing in there curious manner until you give them attention.

    Little do you know, but when you aren't looking you Cat has the camera out and is busy taking snaps of you having sex. These are then posted on various websites.

    I would keep the cat outside the bedroom prior to initiating any sort of sexual play . If it became a real issue , I would try laying out a treat when I had sex to keep the cat happy and occupied .

    All honesty? Cats can be curious and possessive creatures. They demand your attention 24/7, so she might know what's she's doing is off putting to get attention.

    The first few yrs of marriage our cats would (blissfully) watch us. HOWEVER, after one of the cats landed on my ass just at the big moment, claws out, they never again got to watch live porn!. I honestly don't know which was worse, the cat locked on my butt, or when I was a country boy taking a leak in the woods & got stung on the end of my penis by a wasp. Trust me, you can't make this stuff up.

      Both of those sound painful. Though I think I'd prefer the cat claws to the wasp.
