So today my 14 yr old daughter come up to me and said she was having sex.... Is it normal for that age now a days?
Sadly, it's become normal for this day and age.
Make sure she uses proper protection.

Did no one else notice the atrocious structure of this?
Your daughter come up to you? Really? The word you want is came, because you are talking in a past tense.
Said she was having sex? Again? The way you make this sound she literally walked up to you in the middle of it, penetration and all.
I'm not sure if you are 10 and trying to get a laugh, but here is how your question should have been typed.
"Today, my fourteen year old daughter came up to me and explained that she was sexually active. Is it normal for someone fourteen to be having sex?"
If she was my daughter, I would take her to a doctor for a full check up. Then I would send her to her room, lock her door, place the key in a safety deposit box, and hunt down every boy who ever touched her.
Seriously, the girl needs a parent who will set strict rules as she has proven she can't make good decisions on her own. She also needs a parent to sit down and talk about all of the risks associated with her behaviors.
A girl I knew had a mother who said she would hold her hand through the delivery and to the adoption agency when she gives the child up.
