Is it normal for a 9 year to bath with his 12 year old brother?

I am aware that siblings, and often cousins, will bath together at an early age. However, I was terribly shocked when I looked back through some old photo albums and saw a picture of me, then 9, in a tub with my 12 year old brother. This was not an everyday occurrence, as we had stopped doing this with any sort of consistency by the time i was 6 and he was around late 9 early 10, possibly earlier, as is the case in some families.
Anyway, my parents to this day say it's perfectly normal, but I have had issues with it, and feel my friends would think I was strange if they found out about this. At the time, I don't think, because of my upbringing, that I would've considered it weird. Now I definitely do and just wish the whole thing never happened. Is this normal?

    It depends on the kids! Ask them how they feel about having baths together or showers and if they say they don't mind tell them to let you know when they do want to bathe separately especially the older kid oh and pleas check out my question I really need an answer thanks x

    i had baths with my mom dad and all my sisters there's nothing at all wrong with this totally fine

    Normal I showered/bathed with my cousind from age 7 till I was 12. No biggie we washed eachothers backs lol.

    I am aware that doing this would improve things, however most people don't realize that controlling mental health issues can sometimes be as difficult as controlling physical ailments. Anyway, it probably sounds overly dramatic the way I described it. It's pretty under control.

    Children have little concept of sexuality, though I would probably have stopped it around the 8 mark at most.

      Yea, that's what I figured, but I have a form of obsessive-compulsive disorder and I tend to blame the whole thing on myself and feel incredibly guilty about it. It's been an issue in the back of my mind for awhile, but now it's gotten to be much harder for me to deal with for some reason.

    I'd probably feel a bit odd about it too, but the fact it's a child photo, I wouldn't think of it much.
