My husband is 14 years younger than me. Been together two years and have a baby together. In the beginning things were great. I couldn't ask for more but since a drunken incident via the Internet by him some six months ago has proved a great strain on our relationship and things are getting worse. As time has passed I can actually see now how immature he is. I have given him everything handed on a plate. Things I have worked so hard for and all he does is abuse and take it all for granted. Just some advice. If you wanna settle down with someone older make sure you appreciate they are more mentally mature than you and won't always see your childish immature behaviour as funny nor exceptable and if you decide to date someone alot younger then expect the childish tantrums and Sulks and the lack of life experiences and their selfishness when it comes to them wanting to do shit for themselves constantly forgetting they have a family and responsibilities and basically leave you to pick up the pieces all the time why they please themselves and don't take things seriously. It's so draining. I never behaved the way he does at his age. I was far more grown up mature and responsible. His hurt me big time and to immature to acknowledge it.
Informative post-sorry to hear about the trouble you've been going through. Unfortunately younger guys have a well-deserved reputation for being aloof, immature and irresponsible.
They only start smartening up in their 30s and 40s. I'm 40 so I know all about it. You're probably better off finding a guy closer to your age.
You hit the nail on the head..it isnt age per se but maturity.....women mature even faster and a young man might act in ways that turn you off big time...so its a question she has to find out for herself
Is it normal for a 29 year old woman to date a 20 year old guy?
