I say is a little weird not being kissed at your age. considering the fact that 14 year old are having sex already but that is another story. if you say your pretty, and intelligent. then i don't see why not, have you ever dated? the being shy part might be a bit of a factor, but maybe you are making your self not reachable somehow. you should start by just being friendly, and talk with everyone and anyone, go out see if anyone interested you, or if anyone is interested in you, we guys are very easy to tell when we like someone. besides that good luck.
