There's a difference between 16 and not having reached the age of majority and prepubescence in terms of some of the comments made here. That said, you - OP - need to be more mature on this on-line activity as a 16 year old.
So what about your judgement? This is an on-line fantasy about an identity-less and total stranger who could be anything and anyone - yet you elevate him to quite a position of trust and confidence. That's a bit risky, and again, only on-line (e.g. not a very real relationship).
Maybe your boyfriend is not that jealous, but rather, is concerned for you. In any event it is your responsibility to be more appropriate on-line - and if what you need is more friends, try the real world.
