I guess I consider myself a little rough around the edges, and I'm not the touchy-feely kind, but I hug my sons every chance I get. My oldest is a college freshman. He's a 190lb 3rd baseman. My younger son is a heavyweight wrestler in high school.
They're certainly not pussies. They're respectful, compassionate, loving young men who could kick the shit out of anyone who asked for it.
Life only gives you so many chances to hug the ones you love. Take them.
