    Well, talk to her. Find out the details. There may be more going on... there may be less.

    It is normal, despite what society claims to hold taboo. It just isn't acceptable for most people.

    Support her and be there for her. If she is happy, then join her in her happiness... it will create a strong bond between you and her.
