Is it normal for my parents and I to fight over a basketball I bought ? Then my dad throws a 2 lb piece of metal at my head .

    yeah that's about right. My dad has moved up to throwing hammers and wrenches now. He says it's for my own good.

    Fighting verbally may be very normal, but any adult throwing something heavy at you in anger, no matter how old you are, is a problem. Try to find someone in person to talk to about this, or call a local hotline, so you can get some help. Good luck!!!
