I am completely for people taking responsibility for their own actions. I would never do any of the listed things because of Facebook either.
I just don't understand why Facebook became a reasonable excuse to be an asshole. People seem to have accepted this as a legitimate excuse.
Why were you speeding? "I had to get my mother to the hospital" vs Why are you swerving in the road? "Oh it was because I was updating my Facebook status. I saw a robin and I need to tell everyone right now"!
It isn't a reasonable excuse and whoever thinks it is is a fucking moron. It's like me blaming my car for my reckless driving habit. It doesn't make sense.
Is it normal Facebook makes people horrible?
