Is it normal extremely ticklish after orgasm?

My boyfriend and I tie each other up in bed a lot and it's always very intense. He goes down on me with a mouth full of ice and if I'm not tied up I'd never be able to stand it very long. After I've climaxed I become horribly ticklish "down there" and he likes to keep going. I turn into a hot screaming mess when he does because it tickles so bad I get almost hysterical, especially when he starts tickling my sides and underarms with his hands while still "pleasuring" me with his tongue. It's torture but we love it, so...is it normal to be so ticklish (and I mean a million times worse than normal) after having an orgasm?
