    It's not normal to experience excessive bleeding during anal sex.

    The problem is either that you're not doing it correctly (i.e. you need to prepare more, relax more, use even MORE lube, etc.) and I sincerely HOPE that this is the reason! There are plenty of guides and how-to's to be found on the internet, I suggest taking a good long look at them. If you're relaxed, prepared, well-lubed, don't force anything, etc., you shouldn't bleed.

    The less pleasant explanation is that you've got a medical problem on your hands :/ I hope this isn't the case, but if you feel you've done everything "by the book" so to speak, and you're still bleeding, you need to go see a doctor.

      not to mention there are lubricants specifically made for anal sex.

      plus perhaps one shouldn't start right off with an erect penis being inserted.

      think of it like getting bars in your ears (or other body parts). You can start off with a large hole but it's rather painful... most people start off small and then work their way up ...

        Well put. Foreplay is extremely important to anal sex, and your first time might be better with a finger or slender toy, working your way up to an actual penis (especially if he's rather girthy)

          and... i remember talking to a gay man once - he was very open about what he did...

          i remember asking what he did about gas (meaning poop too). he said he made a point of using laxatives or skipping meals to get a clean intestine.

          although he also said... he'd been out of practice so when he picked up a boyfriend, the man had to be gentle on him until he got re-accustomed to the size.

          (although there's also sex toys that aid in this iirc)
