    The numbers exploding is an illusion.

    The number of homosexuals has likely been the same throughout history, but gays and lesbians were heavily discouraged from expressing their homosexuality in the old days.

        It could very well have always been that 1/6 or 7 were gay, but there was no way of knowing before it was acceptable to admit.

          i dont think its because of that... it wasn't well exposed nowadays and therefore people didn't look for other options, they just went for straight cause they thought thats all there was. they didnt look further. now everyone is questioning thelselves cause we have much more time now, and we're bored

            That could be somewhat true but they'd still have been gay, they just wouldn't have acted on it.

            no its because of the internet and how a child can easily get all the access to internet and also because of parents fucked up with raising most of us

        They abort the females in China, or used to, that's why the men turn toward men. Let the female population grow back and it change back to normal.
