I think there IS a point in worrying about it. That's why wills are so popular, no? You wouldn't want some prick getting ahold of your property or money, so why can't the same apply for organs and tissues? Those things are worth more than money or your vintage Garbage Pail Kids collection!!
To me there's a difference between the body and the will which handles the estate. Physical possessions can have meaning and specific value to people I know, so there's a purpose in assigning possession of them to certain people. My organs don't have the same specific meaning so I don't have the same concerns. I can't specify I want to donate my cornea to my sister. If she needed one and I died and she had the opportunity to have them that would be wonderful, but the chances of a certain person i know requiring a certain part and I was a match are small so I don't see much point in worrying about it.
I really don't care what happens to my body when I'm dead, burial is a waste of precious space, cremation is a waste of energy, they can drop me in the sea to recycle through marine life for all I care. To me organ donation is just the ultimate altruistic act. I worry about the type of person I am when I'm alive, not so much the type of person some random stranger is, and I worry about them even less when I'm dead.
IIN-Don't want to donate my organs because a douchebag might get them?

Pretty much summed up what I was going to say. No point worrying about what happens when you're dead.
