They do and it's annoying. They also seem to get the wrong idea about me. I treat everyone there exactly the same but they think me talking to them is special attention or that I like them. I've been stalked before by women who have threatened to kill me, themselves, or the people I love when I told them to stop. I'm starting to think that people are nuts. Even though I like being a reliable employee to the company and the pay is almost good, I want to find a new job. I feel like I'm done with people.
I completely understand where u are coming from. My second job is a waistress and everyone, everyone thinks you being nice to them is extra special attention. They think you are friends with them all of a sudden, or think that you like them and will hit on you openly.
I feel ya. Every customer service job is like this. I used to be a barista, that was the worst. Almost every guy who frequented thought i was into them.

Their openly flirty behavior actually creeps out my other customers. They tell me something along the lines of "wow theyre awkward".
