I doubt that. In my experience, girls often wear makeup because they believe they're ugly without it. That was me. I was frequently told that I was ugly and I recently quit. It didn't feel like a coincidence that when I started wearing it, I stopped receiving those insults. Now I've got the confidence to shrug it off because fuck them, I'm a security guard not a cocktail waitress, I don't need to please their fancy. I didn't have that in high school.
Quit imposing standards of how you feel women should dress and look. Regardless, it is their prerogative.
I hardly see how your reasoning behind wearing makeup as well as your self-admitted limited experience with the reasoning of others invalidates my statement. Maybe you should reasses your reasoning before causing a self-provoked transformation into a mythical creature with your own person.
If what you pulled from my writings is that I believe people are incapable of free will then obviously you're only getting what you want to get from the message and if that is the case then YES IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. WE ARE NOT REALLY FREE.

I wear makeup because I'm an artist. To me, when I apply makeup, my face is a canvas and the different articles of makeup are my tools.
I don't know anybody who wears makeup for the opposite sex, but that's just in my circle of friends.

The rest wear it because they don't want to look ugly compared to those who wear it, and because men do think they are prettier with it on.
