Is it normal cashier said...

Hypothetical here...(okay not really)

Let's say a 20 year old female went up to the cashier to pay and the guy who looked 32ish asked how the brand of chocolate was that she was buying and she said, it's good, its much less sugar than all the others and his reply was, "I'm at that age now too where I have to watch my sugar too"

At that age too to watch sugar? Was he implying the female in this (clearly hypothetical) situation looks 30s too? Is it normal?

You're not thinking about it enough. You need more information. What way was the wind blowing? Did he have a moustache?

Yeah, a whole heap of overthinking going on.

You're also showing your age. Someone who's thirty-two (which, BTW, is a weirdly specific age estimate) looks ancient to some twenty-year-old people, but you'll probably find when you hit that age that you still think of yourself as being years younger.

The guy was probably just looking for some innocuous social interaction and, being a guy, he said the wrong thing. It's just one of the many talents that comes with a Y chromosome.

He probably thinks that sugary products are only for kids. There's really no need to overthink this.

I dunno, I would probably just ignore him, but I gotta be real with you I don't look for low sugar in my chocolate. There is one brand of sugar free chocolate that I rather like, but I don't make a big deal about it, and especially not with strangers. Try not to get all booty hurt about random shit strangers say to you in the store.

Over thinking it. Guys have said that to me before and half the time I cant even walk into a smoke shop with someone with getting carded 2 steps in. They aren't calling you old simply saying they are at that age were it matters more to them
