The US is a Republic. Democratic Republic is kind of a misnomer when it is used, and I don't think that the US compares to countries that call themselves "Democratic Republics".
China may be CALLED a Republic in the title but that doesn't mean that it is a Republic. It is clearly ruled by the Communist party, however, by contrast, America really is a Republic even in function. It's not just a title, the US really DOES function as a Republic. I don't know what you're getting at with comparing the US to countries that call themselves "People's Republic" and I don't know what you're trying to say when you bring up China but I can assure you that the US is a Republic.
Well these "Democratic Republics" you speak of like for example the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (DPRK) officially claims to be democratic in terms of having these so call "democratic" elections to vote for leaders WITHIN a party to head the party which happens to be the only party. It does "fit" within the the vague definition of the term Democracy.
Is it normal black people shouldn't be allowed to vote this year?

The People's REPUBLIC of China is one too.
But Neuro, wouldn't the US be considered a Democratic Republic?
