Is it normal biting off small pieces of my tongue?

    you have to ask if it's normal to mutilate yourself?

      It's just ripping the skin off. I know some people bite the inside of their cheeks.

        you've already said you are scarred from it

        so again you really aren't sure if it's normal?

        this does not sound healthy and i recommend talking to a doctor

          Yeah, you're right. I just can't imagine what a doctor would do/say about it =/

            that's because you think i meant a medical doctor

            there are also doctors of psychology and psychiatry

              I understand that.
              I've seen those kind of doctors before and they usually tell me that its a nervous reaction of sorts, but I'm not into medication =/ tried it once and it ruined my vision.

              But I typically don't go into detail. I just say I bite my nails.
