What's amusing is that so many Americans have nothing but good things to say about British people but you rarely ever see that in reverse. I don't blame that totally on ignorance but instead think it is more of a "culture" thing. I have tons of English friends...some really close and all have said that they were taught negative stereotypes about Americans. British or American...it's all the same. We both have a wide variety of good and bad personalities in our country. The trick is to realize that sometimes our ideals are not justified or warranted. Location does not make a person "good or bad". There are wonderful people everywhere.
