If that's all they ever care about I can see why that's a bit unsettling. I know parents that still have other interests in their life. But when its still a baby its gonna take up a bunch of time and energy, so its understandable to "obsess" over the kids in that period, its just not much room for anything else. Its up to you if you want kids, and it isn't for everyone. I dont want kids either. But I dont think you should reject it because you dont want to turn into "those parents", (if you know you dont want kids, that's still fine) its still a choice how you want to be, at least most of the years you are potentially raising those kids
