I completely understand your hatred for advertising but there are good reasoning behind most advertising.
Advertising acts as a form of subsiding/eliminating cost of a service or product that a company makes. For example you mentioned Youtube, well alot of the material are now made by full time you tubers who not only need the means to produce their videos but also the means to earn income.
Most sites don't run for free and hence the need for advertising is needed to fund the running and upkeep of such sites.
Would you prefer if we move to a user pay system? So would you rather pay for a "subscription service" to view youtube videos or watch a short advert?
Is it normal advertisements are really pissing me off?
