As a teenager, how 'bout nope. You are literally in the room with a doctor. They will say if something is wrong, what are you providing in terms of knowledge on health that the doctor isn't? You are literally observing a process and waiting for the result, you have no part in either of them, except taking the result and dealing with it or whatever.
Respect your child's privacy, if they want to be left alone, leave them alone.
