I get why some people would say doing one thing can lead to another but it's a slippery slope - but everyone needs to feel validated sometimes. And those who do end up going down the slippery slope in one person's mind were already down the slope long before they met you. They could be polyamorous and not open about it or they could be utter jackholes. NOTE THAT POLYAMOURY IS NOT, NEVER HAS BEEN AND NEVER WILL BE CHEATING.
Hell, I've had one-night friendships [NOTHING SEXUAL] and a few one-night cybering experiences on Omegle.
I'm not necessarily proud of them, but I don't always necessarily regret them either.
What matters to me - however right or wrong what I might be doing is - is that me and whoever I'm with trust each other.
IF you want to do it again (And hats off to you for stopping out of respect, BTW!), I'd suggest being a bit more discreet in future.
