Dude I'm the same way. I think for me it wasn't a sexual assault, but the fact that my parents never acted loving towards me. In fact, I think I had pretty much zero physical contact from about 3rd grade to 7th grade. And now, I get uncomfortable about physical contact not because I hate it, but because I've finally experienced enough of it to realize that I like it a lot [not in a sexual way, but I'm constantly worried that if I indulge myself in hugs and such that it will grow into a sexual thing].
It's not normal int he sense that humans are meant to be physical creatures, but it is normal because I would hazard that the majority of people are with you on this one.
