Every artist is their toughest critic. It's normal. I've spent my whole life being told my art skills are above average, but I've always been VERY critical of my work. Still am. Anyways, as for your artwork, I think you do have a lot of potential. Anyone can have potential if they put the time and effort into getting better. It just takes practice, as cliche as that sounds.
