It's not exactly normal but that doesn't mean it's bad. If you two are happy together, you two should be ok. If differences (other than age, obviously) are an issue, just keep communication wide open. You were both raised in a completely different generation so your views and opinions and believes will definately be very different. And just because you're together now, doesn't mean that you have to get married. You're only 18. So maybe just wait a couple years. That'll give both of you a chance to understand each other better and for you to think more on how to ease your parents into it. If they love you, which I'm sure they do, they'll learn to except who you love, no matter who it is or how old they are. Good luck!
