Is it normal..
...That every time I hear another song by Ariana Grande or another iPhone comes out I lose more and more faith in humanity but it gets restored every time I listen to ANY song by Jon Bellion?

I dunno, think it's silly. I put my faith in God, not in humanity. I also NEVER say happy holidays, it's always Merry Christmas!
Politics correctness, and this whole thing about trying not to offend people is a scourge, and yes, it's first world bullshit.
Political correctness is garbage, but I do say "Happy holidays", cause I actually wish people a Merry Christmas and a happy new year, but can't be bothered to call, or write to 50 people twice...
I only call my closest friends for Christmas and New year. The rest get a "Happy holidays", cause it's less of a chore.
I hate thank u, next and I've never even heard it. Passionately hate it.
I didn't know who Jon Bellion was, so I listened to a few songs. I feel nothing. I can say he is better than Ariana Grande and the rest of the garbage pop singers, but still no Freddie Mercury, still no Pink Floyd, still no Genesis...
The great music is gone. Apart from the occasional comeback of oldschool stars like Paul McCartney, Jeff Lynne, Alice Cooper and a few more. Sadly they are a dying breed - literally. Tho I'm ok with being stuck with listening to music from the past on repeat. Music with passion, talent and excellence. Something almost impossible to see these days. Sometimes new "oldschool-style" rock and metal bands do pop up, but as a whole the rock genre ,sadly, continues to fade.
Also I don't care about Iphones. Overpriced and not my style.
I have my S7 Edge Samsung and am more than happy with it.
There are worse things than Ariana Grande and iphones, and I have no idea who Jon bellion is.
I've never listened to this guy so how would I know? I don't think those products are any excuse for loosing faith in humanity. I mean, I can think of FAR worse things
