Is it necessrily narcissistic to think of yourself as beautiful?

Simply put, I've been called stuck-up and self-centered for thinking I'm a physically attractive person. However, I contest that that's not exactly true, since besides being pretty I realize I have a host of shortcomings and flaws. So, am I stuck-up?

Is It Normal?

  • Its arrogant if you try to condescendingly compare your looks to someone else.

  • Society doesn't want you to think you're attractive.

  • Don't worry about it. If you think you are pretty, it's a good thing. It's normal to recognise your short comings. But remember it's more important to be a good person than looking good. I am glad for you because you are attractive in looks and you can be more attractive by being a better person.

  • Pretty women might get more of the looks but average and ugly girls get more of the action

  • No, there's no problem with thinking you're attractive, but there is usually a problem with telling other people about it.

  • I have never met anyone regardless of appearance that had no flaws. A real flaw would be to think you had none.
