legally , someone under 18 cannot enter into a purchasing contract. Technically legally children cant buy anything in the USA. example and this happened a child went to a car dealer and bought a new car and crashed it. because they were under 18 the dealer ate the bill. Turns out a minor cant enter into purchase contracts . that includes use of money for all debts public and private. the law just looks the other way untill its is forced to issue a ruling.
It not being legal to buy a car or enter into any form of contract under the age of 18 is NOT the same thing as saying someone under 18 can't buy anything, because obviously they do so all the time.
Is it Legal for a parent to take a child's property and trash it?
