His parents can take whatever game they want from him, it doesn't matter if he bought it or not. You can figure this out with a simple Google search.

I say they still cant legally do that if he is 16. If he has proof of the receipt of purchase, he can sue his parents.
I just find it incredibly wrong to do that to someone who has worked hard for their own belongings. You have no right over other peoples stuff.
