I don't often change my mind about things. Not to be arrogant but I'm rarely wrong. But when I am I'm honest about it. We all learn things.
I agree with most of your principles, I just tend not to enforce things so strictly because I'm quite passive. I'm also very "big picture" so I'm pretty good at ignoring things that I don't like if it helps keep the peace. That way thinking also gives me the perspective to say that my view is just one person's view, and who the hell am I to tell others what to do.
But that article... Hmmm... Passive and big picture isn't always the most responsible thing to be.
