You need some sun every day to produce vitamin D naturally. An hour a day is fine. Maybe a little sun block on your arms and face. I take vitamin D supplements in my vitamin regiment.

Why are you worrying about UV rays at 7 am? And why are these other people suggesting sunblock at that hour of the morning?

You need to. The body synthesizes Vitamin D through sunlight exposure or from eating/drinking things with Vitamin D in it.

I specifically referred to UV rays at 7 am, not just that the sun has risen by that time. I'm in Australia, which has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world, so there's a lot of public health information about the danger of UV rays. I've never heard it suggested that UV rays are dangerous in the early morning or late afternoon.

Probably not early in the morning but if you are outside a lot every day for long periods of time then it could end up a long term problem. As long a as you apply sunscreen and reapply when supposed to you could be fine

Sun won't do you harm in small bouts like that, but if you're SUPER concerned about skincare, sun does age the skin faster.

Sun block, especially high UV protectors, will do you good if you ever are concerned (plus they keep you from burning!).

Being outside for an hour isn't gonna hurt the average person. If you are worried though just sunscreen will help prevent most skin damage from occurring.
